Pietro Iob is a researcher at the Center for Sustainable Energy, working in the Hydrogen Technologies and Resilient Energy Systems (HyRES) Unit. His main fields of activity are the design and development of control solutions for hydrogen systems, in particular electrolyzers and fuel cells.

Working at FBK since 2024, Pietro is involved in European research projects focused on sustainable and resilient energy, especially in hydrogen-based technologies. Other research interests include autonomous vehicles, advanced control systems, and space technologies.

Pietro holds a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Padua and is member of the IEEE Control Systems Society and the Order of Engineers of Trento. Previous working experience includes control system engineer at Techmo Car Spa and research fellow at CISAS for the European Space Agency.
