Maciej Marczak is a researcher at the Center for Sustainable Energy, specializing in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and numerical analysis within the Battery and Electrification Technology unit.
He holds a master’s degree in power and mechanical engineering. Throughout his academic and professional career, Maciej has focused on CFD simulations of various phenomena, including wind turbine aerodynamics, heat exchangers, and cardiovascular flows.
His current work centers on the development of mathematical model for redox flow batteries. Maciej primarily works with OpenFOAM and leverages a range of open-source tools, including Blender, Salome, and FreeCAD. His daily workflow also involves programming in C++, Python, and Bash.
