Gionata Luca is a researcher at the Centre for Sustainable Energy, working in the Hydrogen technologies and Resilient Energy Systems | HyRES unit of Fondazione Bruno Kessler since 2023.

His main expertise is in green hydrogen systems, focusing on industrial collaborations and consultancy for new production and storage facilities, techno-economic assessments and steady-state modelling.

He works on strategic projects such as IPCEI Hy2Tech to support decarbonisation through advanced hydrogen technologies along the whole value chain.

Gionata Luca is also involved in EU projects on renewable energy communities, like LIFE ECOEMPOWER and HORIZON EUROPE COMMUNITAS, to foster active consumer participation in the energy markets.

He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Padua and contributes to innovative solutions for the energy transition.
