Pericoli Evans

Evans Pericoli is a PhD Executive candidate at the Center for Sustainable Energy, specializing in metal hydride-based hydrogen storage and compression technologies within the Hydrogen Technologies and Resilient Energy Systems (HyRES) Unit. His expertise spans CFD modelling and experimental characterization of metal hydrides, with a focus on bridging microscopic material features to large-scale computational models to reveal how intrinsic properties influence system-level performance.

Since joining FBK in 2025, he has contributed to European research projects advancing metal hydride technologies, including the Remedhys and HyCO² initiatives.

Previously, as a research fellow at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Bologna, he refined his skills in advanced materials characterization, focusing on structural, thermodynamics, and kinetics investigations.
