Dr. Chandra is a Researcher at the Center for Sustainable Energy, specializing in nanoscale materials and plasma process development within the HyRES Unit.

His work focuses on the green, dry synthesis of nanostructured materials, thin-film deposition via PVD methods, and the design of advanced electrocatalysts for water electrolysis. Since joining FBK in 2019, he has contributed to numerous European public and private research projects in materials innovation and energy technologies.

He holds a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from Sapienza University of Rome (2016), and a dual M.S. degree in Nanotechnology from KU Leuven (Belgium) and Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden, 2011).

With research experience across academia and industry in Italy, India, and France, Dr. Chandra has authored peer-reviewed publications and filed patents in the field of functional nanomaterials, aiming to advance sustainable, scalable material technologies.
