Last February 26, the first edition of the Forum Nazionale per la Sicurezza Energetica (National Forum for the Energy Security) took place in Taranto, Italy.
The event explored the strategic value of hydrogen for industrial development and brought together institutional representatives, major national players, universities, research centers, and local operators who share expertise and operational visions.
The program offered analysis of the national strategy, updates on current regulations, useful support measures for businesses and territories, and a selection of concrete cases that show how this technology is already producing results.
Our Director Luigi Crema introduced the panel 2 I grandi player e le strategie europee e nazionali (The big players and the strategies on the European and National level).
The focus of the panel was to present and discuss the vision and the investiment strategies of the main Italian utilities with regards to hydrogen. The panel also aimed to discuss about the launch of the some crucial national Hydrogen Valleys.
The panel featured Carlo Costa (Autustrada del Brennero), Carlo Corazza (Parlamento Europeo in Italia), Michelangelo di Luozzi (Raffineria ENI Taranto), Leonardo Mazza (Puglia Green Hydrogen Valley, Edison Spa), Fabrizio Cardilli ( Gruppo Sapio), Orazio Manni (RINA), Matteo Ciarapica (RENCO SPA), Ivo Cassetta (Milano Serravalle).
